Bringing the missing Ribbon and Alt key shortcuts into Mac Excel.
Buy & DownloadExcel for Mac shows key tips for the ribbon tabs, but not for the menus those tabs open, so a Windows sequence dies halfway through. ALT labels every row of an open menu and runs the one you press.
ALT never reads your spreadsheet. It sees your keystrokes only while Excel is in front, and reads the labels of whatever menu Excel has open. Nothing is recorded, and nothing leaves your Mac.

macOS 13 or later, and Microsoft Excel 16.89 or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel.
Email hello@altkeys.app and say what you pressed and what happened. Include your macOS and Excel versions, both shown in ALT under Settings. Most problems are one of the two setup steps, and the reply is usually same day.
Send it to hello@altkeys.app. Shortcuts that behave differently from Windows are the most useful thing to report, since the Windows letters go into the next build.
One purchase covers one Mac, and you can move it to another Mac whenever you like from ALT’s settings.
